I don't know if I should post or not, because I'm not great at this stuff anyhow, but...what do you mean when you say "various taping styles" and "general information about these things"?

Are you looking for more info on how the GD recorded their shows? The technical details (equipment used, etc), recording styles for different eras (Betty vs Bear vs whoever else), or both? Maybe neither? :)

There are lots of smart folks here, but I ain't one of them. Maybe if you give us some more details someone can chime in and lead you in the right direction.

I'm w/CiLB. There are knowledgeable people hereabouts. There was a new-taper thread recently, for example.... So you might try clarifying/revising your post
